There’s just something so quintessentially English about a cup of tea. Tea has always been in my life. As a child I recall Yorkshire Tea and Rington’s tea (along with their delicious chocolate marshmallow teacakes!) populating the cupboards. In fact Yorkshire Tea is still my go-to tea of choice when I fancy a regular brew. Recently I have discovered a love of posh tea…and there is just no turning back! 🙂
I came across Teapigs through one of my many subscription boxes (I can’t remember which one) and was immediately drawn to their elegant silky pyramid temples (bags to you and me!) and free-flowing beautifully-smelling flowers, spices and tea leaves. I had to have more! One (maybe two!) bulk orders later and I am the proud owner of a selection of bagged and loose tea for all times of day/night and moods including: darjeeling Earl Grey tea, chai tea, lemon and ginger tea, camomile tea, green tea, pure lemongrass tea, jasmine pearl tea, chocolate flake tea plus a variety of samples. My Favourites:
These are the teas I turn to on a regular basis. The lemon and ginger tea contains actual bits of dried lemon and ginger, the chai tea has chunks of magical spices (who knows what it actually contains!), the camomile tea has dried flowers in it and I can actually see the tea leaves in the darjeeling Earl Grey. I love them all equally and can’t recommend them enough! 🙂 If you want to try Teapigs they do a pick & mix sample pack of 12 teas of your choosing…it makes a great gift too for the tea-lover in your life. The super-power charged anti-oxidant-rich matcha green tea is next on my list to try!
