Top 10 for July 2015!

julfavs15

It’s that time again…time to share with youΒ my 10 most favourite products I reached for in July. So here we go, in no particular order…

1 –Β Lush New Charity Pot Hand and Body Lotion.

charitypot

I love this moisturiser. I use it for my dry, crispy hands at night and it helps them to feel rejuvenated. The smell is fresh and light…I genuinely think I have found THE holy grail of hand creams. πŸ™‚

2 –Β KIKO Tri-bal Soul Baked Blush in 01 Deluxe Coral

blush

This limited-edition baked blusher makes me smile every time I use it! It gives a beautiful flush of easily-blended long-lasting colour. The packaging is not travel-friendly however that is easily remedied by buying a bigger makeup bag! πŸ˜‰

3 –Β Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Lost Cherry &Β KIKO Precision Lip Pencil in 306 Geranium Red

lips

Although technically two products, in my opinion you can’t use one without the other. The lip pencil is cheap and cheerful, glides on easily and matches the higher-end lipstick perfectly. The lipstick has a comfortable creamy matte formula and is the perfect soft daytime-friendly red to take you through the summer months.

4 –Β Makeup Revolution Radiant Lights Palette (shades: breathe, exhale, glow)

higlighter

The first two shades are perfect for adding radiance and luminosity to my pale skin. Before strobing was a thing, I was ‘splodging’ this on my cheekbones, nose, cupid’s bow, chin and forehead to add dimension to my face. The third shade is more suited to more medium skin tones.

5 –Β Garnier Mineral Ultra Dry 48-Hour Anti-Perspirant Roll On

deo

I think I may have found the holy grail of deodorants! This keeps me fresh and lovely-smelling all day where many other deodorants have failed. This is my new best friend!

6 –Β GOSH Velvet Touch Foundation Primer Cream

gosh

Lately I have been shying away from the silicon-based primers that sit on your skin and instead reaching for those with a more creamy texture that sink into your skin. This one well and truly fits that bill. My face feels hydrated but not greasy and my foundation lasts well even in hot temperatures…it’s easy on the pocket too!

7 –Β L’Oreal Infallible 24-Hour Matte Foundation in the shade 11-Vanilla

matte

I never thought my EsteeΒ Lauder double wear could ever be matched by a drug store foundation…until now! OK Estee still wins, however this is a close second and I have been wearing it every day for a while now. I have nearly finished it but like any true makeup aficionado, I already have a back up waiting…

8 – Charlotte Tilbury Full Fat Lashes Mascara in the shade Glossy Black

mascara

This does what it says on the tube…it makes my lashes full and fat! I love the simple packaging, the application and the colour. With so many amazing drug store mascaras available I am not sure I could justify buying this on a regular basis…buy this for me as a gift however and I will be jumping for joy!

9 – Smashbox 24-Hour Photo Finish Shadow Primer

eyeprimer

I have super oily lids and more creamy eye primers just end up sliding off my face. This is now my holy grail eye primer as once my shadow (powder or cream) is applied, it stays until I choose to take it off. As only a tiny bit is needed it will last you aaaaages, so don’t be put off by the price.

10 – Real Techniques Bold Metals Oval Shadow Brush

brush

This is a fabulous brush for packing on colour (cream and powder) and is my go-to brush for packing on and blending out cream eyeshadows. The brush washes clean easily, doesn’t shed and has a nice reassuring weighted feel in my hand. It’s a win!

Well that’s it for my favourites. Let me know what you have been loving this month!
