Unboxing: Birchbox December 2015

Unboxing - Birchbox December 2015

It is a little late but it is Birchbox time again…or should I say Birchbag time! This month’s package of delights is presented in a cute little clutch bag and is packed full of a great range of samples to try. The bag itself is a bit flimsy and the outer packaging was super flimsy. Unfortunately the shower gel got crushed and exploded all over the inside of the bag. 😦 I soon wiped it all down so I could inspect the contents…

Box contents: Benefit Puff Off eye gelΒ (2.5ml); Benefit They’re Real liner shade Beyond Black (10g); Roloxin Lift revitalizing facial treatment (3.3g); Model Co Colour Essentials lipstick shade Kitty (full-sized); Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream (15ml); Skin & Co Sicilian Body Gel (60ml); and Ciate mini nail polish shade Couture Noir ( 5ml).

Can’t wait to try: I love all things Elemis so I can’t wait to use the face cream; the Benefit Puff Off eye gel is something I have wanted to try for ages; the Ciate nail polish is awesome, I love their polishes; and the Model Co lipstick is in my favourite pinky-nude shade.

Feeling meh: The Skin & Co shower gel, despite the fact that most of it is on the inside of the bag, does not inspire me; The Roloxin facial treatment is such a small sample that there’s no chance I can decide if I like it or not; and the Benefit They’re Real liner is not one of my fav products, I find it dry and it applies in chunks.

You can upgrade this month’s bag and receive a chain so you can use it as a shoulder bag. It’s too flimsy for this in my opinion but without the chain it will make a nice makeup bag.
