My name is Traci-Ann and I am a makeup and beauty addict! It’s been one week since my last frivolous beauty purchase! I love Christmas, I am not ashamed to say, for the awesome beauty gift sets and holiday-edition beauty items adorning the shelves and online stores. Despite the fact that Santa is on his way I like to have a little shop or two during the Christmas period to land myself some items that during the rest of the year I might not be able to justify (*ahem*). I could tell you that I made the most of the Black Friday sales and grabbed some real bargains, but that would be a lie. So let’s have a little look at my last haul of 2015…
1 – Laura Mercier has some amazing Christmas sets out at the moment, and what better way to sample several shades of a product. I have been dying to try the caviar sticks for ages so I treated myself to this Matte to Metal Holiday collection with a fab range of six wearable colours. For £39 I thought this was really good value particularly as I can change the colours up and I am not stuck with just one or two shades.
2 – I gave my REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask away this year and instantly regretted it, so of course I had to buy another! At £32 for all these products it was a bargain, however right now it’s a steal with 30% off in the pre-Christmas sale!
3 – My next purchases were the Beaver Professional Hydro Nutritive Moisturising shampoo & conditioner both from Birchbox at £11.50 each. I got a sample of each of these and couldn’t resist getting the full-sized
products. I used my Birchbox points so only ended up spending £9 for both items, including P&P. 🙂
4 – Finally, my most beautiful purchases! I love Charlotte Tilbury and cannot get enough of the burgundy and gold packaging, it’s just fab! When I spotted this limited edition 3rd Edition makeup bag on her website I just had to buy it despite the £32 price tag. The bag itself is a really decent size and I will be swapping my makeup over into it ASAP. I also took this opportunity to grab another of the Matte Revolution lippies in Glastonberry *swoon*! At £23 they are not cheap however the formula and colours are amazing and I think they are worth every penny!
I hope you enjoyed my itsy bitsy holiday haul…I certainly enjoyed creating it for you because of course you were my reason for buying it all! 😉 Happy Christmas!
