I was looking at my little hooves last week thinking ‘wow you need some TLC’! Now I normally do my own foot and toe nail maintenance and I started to psyche myself up to get this done. My little hooves had other ideas though! I like to think they have their own facebook page and sent out a distress call as literally hours later I got an invite from the team at The Mulberry House Beauty Salon inviting me & a friend down to check out the salon and sample a Jessica pedicure* at their super fancy bespoke pedicure station. Me & my little hooves jumped at the chance to get a professional to sort me out.
The Mulberry House Beauty Salon (link here) is relatively new to the local area. The salon itself is spacious and beautifully designed and the team, headed up by owner Catherine, offer a warm welcome with a cup of tea and a biscuit…which pleases the Yorkshire lass in me greatly. 🙂
I sampled the Jessica pedicure with Jessica polish (£22*). Emily very expertly soaked, buffed, scrubbed, clipped, scraped, filed and painted my feet back to full fitness (thanks Emily!). I loved sitting at the bespoke pedicure station. Sitting on a high seat with a basin below to soak your feet in was a great experience. I went with a friend and we were able to sit side by side and chat however had there been a stranger sitting next to me we wouldn’t have been on top of each other as there is loads of space. The stations have been well thought out and are far far better than an arm chair with a basin in front which, being on the short side, I can struggle to get comfortable in.
The salon offers heaps of treatment for women and men including a variety of massages, facial treatments, waxing, tinting, spray tanning and nails. If you are in the Wakefield/Leeds/West Yorks area then it’s definitely worth checking out. A warm welcome awaits you!
